The Short Version
- Watching is free on both Chaturbate and Stripchat.
- You pay for tips, private shows and content, all in tokens.
- The price of a private show is set by each performer, so the per-minute rate matters far more than the pack price.
- The real deals are a Chaturbate Supporter bonus, Stripchat's hourly free-token draw, and Stripchat's free Ultimate week with certain packs.
Token Math: Chaturbate
Chaturbate's help center values 200 tokens at $20.99, or about 10.5 cents a token. Wire purchases ($250 minimum) are credited at 8 cents a token, and Chaturbate says cryptocurrency gets its best rate. VAT may be added depending on your region, and the final price shows before you pay.
Example: a 10-minute private show. Say a performer charges 30 tokens a minute.
- 30 tokens × 10 minutes = 300 tokens
- At 10.5 cents a token: about $31.50
- At 8 cents a token (wire rate): $24.00
Check the minimum length first. Chaturbate shows the per-minute rate and the minimum minutes before you confirm, and the minimum may be longer than you planned.
Token Math: Stripchat
Stripchat doesn't publish a price list. Click the green plus (+) button at the top of any page to see the packs and prices for your country and payment method. Stripchat's stated rule is that bigger packages carry bigger discounts.
Private shows on Stripchat run 8 to 150 tokens a minute, set by the performer. To estimate a session, multiply the rate by the minutes, then by your own per-token cost (pack price ÷ tokens in the pack).
Example: a 10-minute private at 20 tokens a minute.
- 20 × 10 = 200 tokens
- If your pack works out to 10 cents a token, that's about $20
- At the top of Stripchat's range (150 tokens a minute), the same 10 minutes is 1,500 tokens

Real Deals We Could Confirm
1. Chaturbate Supporter: 200 bonus tokens
Supporter costs $19.95 a month and includes a one-time 200-token bonus, which Chaturbate values at $20.99. It also adds anonymous tipping, room previews, an ad-free view and the ability to message performers first.
Is it worth it? If you were going to buy about 200 tokens anyway, the first month gets you the same tokens for slightly less, plus the extras. The bonus is one-time, though, so later months don't include tokens. Cancel from the Memberships tab if you don't want it to continue.
2. Stripchat: hourly 50-token draw
Every hour, Stripchat gives 50 free tokens to 10 users with verified email accounts. Join from the "Get 50 Free Tokens" tab at the bottom of any chat room. If you win, you have 10 minutes to claim the tokens, or they're lost. It's a raffle, not a guarantee.
3. Stripchat: 7 free days of Ultimate with certain packs
When you buy specific token packages by credit card, Stripchat offers 7 days of Ultimate free, if you've never bought Ultimate before. You have to tick the confirmation box at checkout. Ultimate's invisible mode and stream previews are handy for browsing.
4. Stripchat: account and seasonal discounts
Stripchat says it doesn't use coupon codes. If your account is eligible for a discount, it appears in your account and by email, and the site also runs seasonal promotions. New accounts may see a first-purchase offer at checkout. If you do, it's there for you to use. If you don't, no outside code will unlock one.
Ways to Spend Less
- Browse before you buy. Both sites are free to watch.
- Filter by price. Stripchat's Private shows page lets you sort by rate.
- Buy the pack you'll actually use. Bigger packs cost less per token, but unused tokens are still money spent.
- Turn off Auto Refill on Chaturbate unless you want automatic top-ups.
- Know the refund rules. Stripchat refunds your last pack within 30 days if none of it was used and you paid by card or PayPal.
